Bonnie Richards- President
Bonnie Richards, LMHC, LPN, MA is a therapist in private practice and is President and Co-Founder of SRM and The Restoration House. Bonnie received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and previously worked in the nursing profession. She is passionate about her work with those who have experienced severe trauma and has assisted clients with Dissociative Disorders for many years. She brings administrative gifts, teaching resources, and encouragement to our community.
Carla Ashton- Vice President
Carla graduated from Multnomah University with a degree in Counseling. Carla has worked with severely abused women, specializing in Dissociative Disorders since 1991. This has been her life’s calling and has led her to be co-founder of Soul Restoration Ministries. She has had a passionate vision for many years of having a safe and nurturing place where trauma survivors can be ministered to in community life. This dream was actualized in “Using what you have in your hands” and then culminating in an amazing answer to her prayers in the gift of The Restoration House.
Terry has worked in several positions in accounting and high technology. He has also been an entrepreneur initiation and managed several small businesses. He holds degrees in accounting and mathematics. Terry is semi-retired, doing some limited accounting, including for SRM. He also sits on the board of the Church Growth Fund in his church community.
Wendy Wampach- Secretary
Wendy has been an active real estate agent since 2006. She has served on many community organizations and has experience in management. Wendy brings much wisdom and resources to our board.
Mary Lou Plath
Mary Lou is a retired Insurance Broker. She has years of experience in management and consultation.
Dan and Kris Close- The Restoration House Facilitators
Dan and Kris Close have been married 43 years. Kris received her counseling degree from Multnomah University, is a Life Coach, has facilitated sexual abuse recovery and boundaries groups, taught in charter schools and been in private practice for over 15 years. Dan works with senior citizens as well as does maintenance at the Restoration House.
