Restoration House

The Restoration House is a warm and inviting place to respite and retreat for women in therapy working through the recovery process from childhood and adult trauma and abuse. Restoration House is structured to welcome those who are needing support and getting encouragement on their healing journey. The staff is caring and knowledgeable about trauma and the challenges of healing from abuse. Those who are looking for a place of acceptance and belonging, a place to journal or collage, or needing fellowship with others who understand the importance of connection, life giving community, and encouragement, this is Restoration House.

Respite Care

We have beautiful private rooms for overnight respite and retreat if you need a short period of rest to process therapy or relief from extreme stresses.  Restoration house is a safe warm and and inviting place to take care of one’s self.  Read More.

 Transitional Living

Transitional Living is provided for women that need some support while they are equipping themselves to live on their own.  We give them a place to stay at low cost while they establish funds for first and last months rent.

Restoration House gives women a safe place to belong in a community setting.   Here women are encouraged to work together building healthy relationships and take full advantage of the programs at Restoration House.   Our Staff is very supportive while mentoring women through practical life skills.  These skills equip each woman to achieve growth and maturity for a successful path to recovery and healthy independent living.   Learn More Here

“The Nest” DID Support Group

This is a safe and nurturing group in which to learn how to live and function with Dissociative Identity Disorder while going through the healing journey. Participants learn to develop life skills, coping skills, grounding tools, boundaries, and to connect with other survivors while receiving continued support and encouragement.  This group is kept to a maximum of ten women, and meets once a week for a twelve-week period. Therapist approval is needed. There is no cost. Donors provide these groups through their generous giving. You will receive a workbook, and other materials for many tools to help you along your healing journey. Contact us here.

Testimonial: The Nest Support Group has been so helpful for me to learn some new tools for managing DID, to be encouraged by the healing progress of others who are further along in their journeys than I am (healing is possible!), and to have other women who can relate to the highs and lows of my own journey.

“The Nest” Online Support Groups

We offer online support groups for those with Dissociative Identity Disorder. (DID) This is a safe place to share hopeful steps taken in recovery, give and receive encouragement, laugh and cry together, pray for one another and to learn about safe and healthy relationships. There are safe guidelines including your therapists approval for this group. Carla Ashton facilitates and moderates these groups.

Classes and Workshops

There are many classes and workshop that are helpful for the healing, growth and fellowship of women.

Check out our Events Page for more information on future classes.

Holiday Gatherings

For those who would be alone during holiday meals or events, we offer a gathering. Usually these times are at Christmas, Thanksgiving, Autumn Harvest (October 31), and Easter. We will advertise these events as these dates approach. They are light-hearted and filled with laughter and joy as we endeavor to re-frame these difficult days for survivors. Contact us here for more information.

Therapist Group

This group is for therapists, counselors, recovery ministry leaders and those who are working with trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence and extreme abuse survivors. If you want to learn more about the DID client, this is an excellent resource. As a group, we discuss therapeutic issues pertaining to DID, explore questions and problematic
issues, and share helpful tools.

Please call Carla Ashton at 360-903-0632 or contact us here.
